Man, I love jungle music. I just don't know whois a good Jungle band or DJ. I used to listen to it 10 years ago when I was an exchange program to england . ( wow, I think that was bad grammar...).
Really cool stuff! Thanks!

Awesome, thanks for this. He's got a really good feel and clearly knows the music. Technically great too, with lovely hands!

Thanks for the clip - that hi-hat thing is insane! Gets over the age old problem of how to play 16ths at 180 bpm whilst doing complex snare parts with the left hand. Andy Gangadeen uses two pole triggers from the drumKat range (I think), one above the other with a gap, so when he hits the bottom one he hits the top one on the upstroke, creating 16ths. Nice idea, but not so possible if you play all acoustic (unless you have 3 pairs of hats, two x-hats stands and a lot of patience...).
I'm going to have to work on my left foot, I reckon.

Sorry for the double post, but does the term 'great dane junglist' consure up visions of a massive shaggy Dog dressed in Khakis hacking its way through the undergrowth for anyone else?

Hi guys.
I hope you don't mind my waving the danish flag, but I thought I'd share a little secret with you. Anders Meinhardt, local danish drummer.
This is not even close to being his finest hour, but you get the picture I think:

(The comment by the producer in the end: "That was very very very good")

Wow...nice. Is it my imagination or did he start playing 16ths at that tempo between right hand remote hi-hat and left foot hihat in the middle? It looks like he does, and sounds like they are at slightly different pitches, which is a really nice effect.

Yeah Muskateer, actually a huge sleek short-haired dog in too large baggy camo pants wrenching spasmodically among the bass bins...
I'm half-Dane myself (2nd generation--can I be an honorary member of the Danish HOD posse?) so I guess I have the right to joke about it...not "great," but definitely a junglist at times. Wave that flag!
Yeah--that hi-hat thing is really cool and sounds great. I would love to see this guy on a "good" day if this is not his highest moment.
